The need to develop new electrochemical energy storage and conversion devices requires the creation of new, available, low-cost high-performance electrocatalytic materials, which can be produced as coatings by electrodeposition technique. electrodeposited composite based on nickel seem very promising in this context. We studied corrosion resistance Ni–TiO2 fabricated method using a plating solution deep eutectic solvents, environmentally friendly affordable type room-temperature ionic liquids. investigated behavior Ni (5 10 wt.% TiO2) 3% NaCl aqueous corrosive medium. parameters were determined linear voltammetry impedance spectroscopy. It was established that inclusion titania particles matrix an increase their content coating leads shift potential towards positive values, decrease current density polarization resistance. observed effects improving are associated with barrier action dispersed phase formation microcells contributing inhibition local corrosion.
